Description:

This course will educate participants on the basics of hand anatomy and the anatomical structures that contribute to a stiff hand. The course will present various causes of a stiff hand including diagnoses associated with stiff hands, and external factors that contribute to hand dysfunction. In this presentation, participants will be provided with photos and videos for discussion of a multitude of treatment ideas for stiff hands.

Objectives:

• Participants will demonstrate understanding of basic hand anatomy.
• Participants will identify causes for still hands.
• Participants will identify treatment ideas for stiff hands.
• Participants will be able to describe structures that contribute to a stiff hand.
